Child and Family Investigations: CFI work is done by attorneys or mental health professionals with special training. Claudia Alonzo is a Certified Child and Family Investigator in the state of Colorado. As such, she is trained to do objective and in-depth investigations in cases involving custody of minor children. CFI reports are made as a result of a court order and provide the court with a very detailed report concerning the  "best interests of the children." CFI fees are paid equally by both parents.
